Legal
Terms
Last updated —
By downloading or purchasing ExifXplorer ("the software") you agree to these terms.
Licence
A purchased licence grants you a personal, non-exclusive right to install and use the software on Macs you own or control. You may not resell, sublicense, or redistribute the software or your licence key.
Trial
The trial is provided so you can evaluate the software on your own library before buying. It runs with full functionality for seven days from first launch. After that period the software will not operate until a valid licence is entered; it does not delete, alter, or withhold access to any of your files.
Your files
The software edits photo metadata. Used with its default sidecar-writing mode it does not modify your original image files; direct-write mode is opt-in. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups. See the warranty section below.
Updates
A licence includes all future updates at no additional cost, for as long as the software is maintained. Updates are delivered through the app's built-in updater.
Warranty & liability
The software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Etan Rozinis not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from use of the software. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Refunds
See the refund policy.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Etan Rozin is established.
